TRANSPORTATION TO AND AROUND MONTAUK:

Gurney's Inn is only 110 miles form New York City and may easily be reached by car or charter bus over scenic superhighways, on the Long Island Railroad, or by private aircraft.

Long Island Railroad: Daily round trip schedules operate between New York and Montauk on weekdays, and weekends, luxurious private "club" cars complete with attendant, and facilities for beverage service and hors d'oeuvres, may be arranged by phoning the LIRR (718).217.5477. Hampton Jitney - Charter bus - Hampton Jitney operates a fleet of full size coaches , with multiple trips daily between Montauk and the NYC Metro area year round. Every trip is on a wide body, lavatory equipped bus, staffed with an on-board attendant serving snacks and reading material. Airport connections, limousines and package services are also available through Hampton Jitney. Airport Transportation: -Both Montauk Airport with a single 3500ft. of strip, and East Hampton Airport with three runways (longest 4200 ft. and equipped with full landing instrumentation) are equally convenient to Gurney's Inn. The latter offers ground services 12 months. Ground transport is available from both airports by taxi or by phoning for the Inn Courtesy Car.
